WE'RE THE MILLERS is a US comedy about a drug dealer who is coerced into running a consignment of drugs back from Mexico. To do this he assembles three other individuals so they can pose as a family on holiday.
- Language
There is frequent use of strong language ('f**k'), some of which is directed at other characters and some used in a sexual context.
- Drugs
Drugs feature as a theme. The main character is established as a 'friendly' neighbourhood drug dealer who supplies middle class customers. He is sent to smuggle marijuana from a gang in Mexico. We see large quantities of packed cannabis during the smuggling scenes, however no actual drug use is portrayed. The sympathetic characters end up in life threatening situations because of their link to drugs.
- Sex
There are several strong sex references, including scenes inside a pole dancing club during which a stripper is seen with 'Boner Garage' tattooed on her torso, with an arrow pointing down to her groin. In another scene a stripper performs a prolonged strip routine, down to her underwear, to distract an armed henchman. Other moments include one male asking another to perform oral sex on a police officer, using crude terms, as well as brief references to owning a vibrator, masturbation and virginity.
