WALKING ON SUNSHINE is a British musical comedy drama about a woman returning to Italy three years after a fling with a local, only to find he’s about to marry her sister.

Language

A single emphatic and derogatory use of ‘dick’, when a woman describes her friend’s ex-boyfriend.  There is also some mild bad language, including ‘shit’, ‘jerk’ and ‘God’.

Sex

There are several moderate sex references, including a woman claiming that ex-boyfriends "either blow up in your face or go all limp", as she squeezes sun cream from a tube in a suggestive manner. A man tells a woman that he "would like to find myself in you" and asks her if she has let another man "do that thing you wouldn’t let me do". A woman tells friends that, rather than bother with a boyfriend, she would prefer to "change the battery", implying the use of a vibrator. There are also some scenes during hen and stag nights, in which male strippers remove their shirts and clothed women gyrate and jiggle their breasts in front of a man.

There is some obscured male nudity as a man is found tied to a tree with tape covering his groin. He’s later seen running down the street, clutching the tape to cover his bare bottom.
