WAKOLDA is a subtitled Spanish and German language drama, set in Patagonia in 1960, in which an unsuspecting Argentinian family form a relationship with Josef Mengele, the infamous Nazi war criminal.
A teenage boy is attacked by several other youths. He is punched, beaten and knocked to the ground. The victim sustains a bloody cut above an eyebrow.
In a sinister encounter, Mengele threatens a woman he suspects has uncovered his true identity. He twists her arm behind her back and talks about death taking people by surprise. He suggests that something unpleasant is going to happen to her.
Additional issues include female breast nudity, in medical drawings and in a brief scene in which a mother nurses her newborn baby.
