VIRUNGA is a documentary about the Virunga National Park in eastern Congo, home of the last surviving population of mountain gorillas and scene of conflict between rival armies fighting for control of the region's mineral wealth.

Language

There is a single sequence, secretly filmed by an undercover reporter, that contains a number of uses of strong language ('f**k').

Disturbing images

There are some upsetting images of injured civilians, including wounded children in a hospital ward, and some scenes showing dead and mutilated animals, left behind by poachers.
