Note: The following text may contain spoilers

V/H/S/2 is a horror film comprising what is presented as 'found footage'. The 'found footage' shows, amongst other things, the results of attacks by zombies, images of self mutilation, and an alien attack.

Violence

In spite of the grainy nature of the 'discovered' footage, there are some extremely gory scenes showing eviscerations and mutilations. Body parts are ripped and eaten by zombies; a man shoots himself in the head, causing a spray of blood and brain matter; a man tears out his own eye with a barbecue fork; another man shoots off his own face with a gun. The focus on bloodshed, gore and injury is both detailed and prolonged.

The film also contains some strong sex references, a single strong sex scene, and some sexualised nudity. In addition there are frequent uses of strong language ('f**k'.)
