THE VEIL is a US horror drama about a woman who returns to the site of a cult's mass suicide which, as a child, she survived.

Threat

There are frequent jump moments, and supernatural threat, throughout. Characters are seen in distress as they encounter ghosts and skeletons.

Violence

There are moments of strong violence in which characters are attacked and killed. These include a man killing a woman by hitting her on the head with a spanner, a man being stabbed in the neck with a screwdriver, and sight of nails being hammered into a woman's hands and feet. These images feature bloody detail.

Language

There is strong language ('f**k'). Milder terms include 'shit' and 'damn'.

Drugs

Scenes show a man being injected with a drug cocktail as part of a cult ritual.

There are references to suicide within the context of a cult committing mass suicide.
