THE TWILIGHT SAGA - ECLIPSE (2010)

ECLIPSE is a romantic fantasy drama involving vampires and werewolves, the third in a series based on the 'Twilight' novels.

Violence

Scenes of violence largely occur between vampires and werewolves, in which the combatants possess supernatural powers. Stronger moments include vampire characters being decapitated, although their bodies shatter upon being struck and the violence inflicted against them is bloodless.

In one scene, a woman stabs herself in the stomach to draw blood and distract a vampire, resulting in a small bloody mark on her clothes. In another sequence, a woman uses a sharp stone to cut her arm for the same reason, with sight of blood being brief and of limited detail.

A scene of implied sexual violence occurs in flashback, in which a woman is pushed around by her drunken fiance and told to remove her clothes. We then hear her scream off screen.

There are occasional mild sex references, including a woman stating that she wishes to have "every human experience" before she is turned into a vampire. In another scene, a father asks his daughter if she and her partner are "taking precautions," but she reassures him she is still a virgin.
