THE TWILIGHT SAGA - BREAKING DAWN - PART 2 (2012)

BREAKING DAWN - PART TWO is the final film in the TWILIGHT series, based on the books by Stephanie Meyer. While Bella adjusts to her new life as both a vampire and a mother, she and Edward must also fight to protect their daughter from the Volturi. The Volturi believe that the girl is an 'immortal child' who will put the vampires' secret existence at risk of exposure. The film is rated 12 for moderate fantasy violence.

There are several scenes of fantasy violence, all of which take place during battles involving vampires and werewolves. Many vampires are decapitated but there is no sight of any bloodshed. Their heads are severed rapidly, without any detail of either the process of decapitation or any resultant wounds. Other limbs, including hands and whole arms, are also cut off but in similar bloodless style with no gory images. Other moments of violence include a werewolf being strangled and a couple of vampire bodies being set alight but only briefly shown in flames.

BREAKING DAWN - PART TWO also contains one sex scene. The focus of the scene is on the couple's hands and faces and there is no clear nudity.

The film also contains some mild bad language, including uses of 'hell' and 'piss'.

No-one younger than 12 may see a 12 film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult. No-one younger than 12 may rent or buy a 12 rated video or DVD.
