TULPA is an Italian erotic horror about a successful businesswoman who discovers her sexual partners at a secretive club are being targeted by a sadistic killer.
- Violence
There are frequent scenes of strong bloody violence, including stabbings, a character's chest being cut open with subsequent sight of his disembodied heart, a woman's face blistering after acid is thrown at her, and a woman's wrists being cut open.
There are also prolonged scenes of torture, including rats being added to a crate containing a badly beaten man, with sight of strong injury detail in the form of bone protruding from his arm. In another sequence, a woman is tied to a carousel horse which forces her face to scrape against barbed wire, eventually gouging out her eyeball.
- Sex
Occasional scenes of strong sex include breast and buttock nudity, a man thrusting into a woman, and implied cunnilingus. There is also a sequence in which a woman is tied to a bed in an elaborate bondage set-up, and a ball-gag is then placed in her mouth.
Infrequent scenes of drug use include a character snorting cocaine, and a woman drinking an unnamed drug added to her drink.
There is infrequent use of strong language ('f**k').
