TRANSIT is a US crime thriller in which a family on a camping holiday cross paths with a gang of armed robbers. The film was classified '15' for strong language, bloody violence and threat.

The BBFC's Guidelines at '15' state 'There may be frequent use of strong language (for example, 'fuck'). The film includes over 40 uses of strong language. In one scene a man has two fingers lopped off with a machete. However, the cutting of the fingers occurs very quickly, with little detail visible. In another scene, a woman is blasted in the back of the head with a shotgun. Although there is a blood spurt, there is no discernible injury detail. The Guidelines at '15' state 'Violence may be strong but should not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury'. The film also includes strong threat throughout but without sadistic or sexual elements that might have required an '18'.

TRANSIT also contains occasional strong verbal sex references and a scene of marijuana smoking. The film as a whole does not promote or encourage drug misuse.
