TOKYO GHOUL is a Japanese horror fantasy in which a college student is transformed into a flesh-eating ghoul.

Violence

Violent scenes include human characters being attacked by flesh-eating ghouls, and ghouls battling one another using tentacle-like appendages or bladed weapons they are able to sprout from their bodies.

Injury detail

Gory images include sight of ghouls feasting on severed limbs or internal organs.

There are occasional references to suicide, notably in a scene in which the central character discovers the body of a man who has thrown himself from a cliff.
