TINKERBELL AND THE PIRATE FAIRY is an animated Disney feature. Tinkerbell and her fairy friends have to leave Pixie Hollow on an adventure to retrieve some stolen Blue Pixie Dust. The film is rated U and contains no material likely to offend or harm.

In scenes where the fairies come up against a gang of pirates, there is some very mild action with characters waving cutlasses and threatening each other. But any violence is comic and slapstick in tone and there are no injuries.

There is occasional very mild threat when the tiny fairies encounter creatures much larger than themselves, but none of these creatures attempt to harm them.

U stands for Universal, which means that we think the film is suitable for audiences aged four or older.
