THERE'S ALWAYS VANILLA is a US drama, from 1971, in which a young man returns to his small town where he moves in with an older woman.

Sex

There are scenes in which a man and a woman have sex; however, there is limited nudity.

Drugs

There are some scenes in which adults prepare, and subsequently enjoy smoking, marijuana joints.

There is also infrequent strong language ('f**k'), as well as some milder bad language (for example 'bitch', 'shit', 'son of a bitch', 'ass', 'screw', 'goddamn', 'hell', 'damn', 'God', 'Jesus Christ').

In one scene a woman is prepared for an illegal abortion; however, she does not go through with it.

In another scene a man tries to have sex with a woman, and she rebuffs his advances. There is no strong detail.

There are also some unendorsed homophobic comments (for example, when a man refers to 'faggots').
