THELMA is a Norwegian psychological drama in which a young woman manifests mysterious powers as she begins to fall in love.

Sex

Scenes include a woman groping another woman's breast and implied masturbation.

Threat

There is a pervasive feeling of tension throughout, including apparently supernatural occurrences and a woman suffering violent seizures. Stronger moments include the discovery of a baby trapped under a frozen lake and a man spontaneously combusting.

Language

Infrequent use of very strong language ('c**t').

In one sequence a woman smokes what she believes to be marijuana and experiences hallucinatory visions. However, it is subsequently revealed that the cigarette only contained tobacco.

This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
