TERMINAL is a thriller in which the lives of four characters intersect around a mysterious waitress.

Language

There is use of strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder terms such as 'twat' and 'Christ'.

Violence

There is strong bloody violence: gunshot impacts cause blood spurts; a woman stabs a man in the neck with a fountain pen.

Suicide

A woman encourages a terminally ill man to take his own life; she lists some of the ways he might do this.

Threat

Two characters strap a man to a chair and perform amateur brain surgery on him.

A teacher is implied to have sexually abused children in his care.

A man taunts a woman about self-harming with a razor blade and cigarettes.

There are sex references to a 'dominatrix' and 'spanking'. There are scenes in a lap-dancing club, but without nudity.

There is implied misuse of the drug laudanum.
