THE TEMPEST is Derek Jarman's 1979 adaption of Shakespeare's play.

Nudity

One scene shows a man sucking a woman's breast. Another scene shows a bare breasted woman slapping a man who jokingly bends over in front of her. There are additional scenes of nudity, such as when a sailor washes up onto a beach.

Sex

Occasional moderate sex references, including a man miming masturbation with a bottle of wine, and a man grabbing his own crotch and laughing as a woman walks past.

There is also some mild bad language, including 'whores', 'Christ' and 'ass'.
