TANNA is a subtitled Nauvhal language film, from Vanuatu, in which two young lovers flee their tribe to escape from arranged marriages to members of another tribe.

Violence

A murder takes place in which a man is clubbed to death by men from a rival tribe. This takes place in semi-darkness, with the blows completely obscured. The victim is seen subsequently with blood trickling down his throat and chest.

Suicide

Two people are found dead with the cause being described as suicide from ingesting poisonous mushrooms.

There is some natural nudity, with many of the women not covering their breasts. There is also a scene in which a pig is clubbed to death as part of a ritual sacrifice but this all occurs below the picture frame, with no detail shown.
