TAMAHINE is a 1963 comedy drama about a young woman from a South Pacific island who sparks sexual jealousy, longing and self-examination among teachers and students at a prestigious all-male school.

Sex references include a man telling a woman that the many sports at the school stop them thinking about sexual matters, a woman telling a man he has “a sexual inferiority complex”, and a woman asking to “… see this film on how to make love".
The film also contains one brief scuffle between two students at the school and rear view sight of a woman standing naked for a portrait.
