TAKEN 3 is a thriller about an ex-government operative who is wrongly accused of murder. He is forced to go on the run as he tries to track down the true killer and clear his name. This is an extended version of the film, containing material not present in the UK cinema release.
- Violence
There are some scenes of strong violence, including bloody impacts and injury detail not present in the cinema version. There are a couple of scenes of interrogation, including protracted sight of a man being waterboarded and a scene in which an emphasis is placed on a gun being pressed into a bullet wound.
- Language
There is occasional use of strong language ('f**k').

This film was originally seen for advice in an incomplete form. The BBFC advised the company that the film was likely to receive a 15, but that their requested 12A could be achieved by making reductions in scenes of violence. When the finished version was submitted for formal classification, those changes had been made and the film was classified 12A.
