THE SURVIVALIST is a post-apocalyptic thriller about a man who has managed to live concealed in a forest for seven years by using his survival skills and the crops he is able to grow in a hidden garden.

Sex

Scenes of brief strong sexual activity include a man masturbating himself whilst looking at a photograph of a woman and, in a post-coital scene, sight of liquid resembling ejaculate on a man's belly as he lies on his back on a bed.

Disturbing images

A young woman attempts to perform an abortion on herself by inserting a long, thin piece of metal into her vagina. The scene includes no explicit detail.

Violence

In one scene a man is stabbed in the neck with a knife. Blood is seen both on the victim's neck and on his fingers as he clutches his throat.

Other issues include male and female nudity and strong injury detail.
