SUBMARINE X-1 is a 1968 World War 2 film in which a Canadian submarine commander is placed in charge of a top secret mission to use miniature submarines to destroy a German warship.
- Violence
There are scenes of moderate battle violence in which soldiers are shot or stabbed to death. Little or nothing is seen in terms of blood or injury detail. In one scene a German parachutist is killed in hand-to-hand combat. He is punched a few times and it is then implied that his neck is broken.
- Language
Mild bad language includes use of the term 'bastard'. There is also infrequent very mild language, including uses of 'damn' and 'dammit'.
Other issues include scenes of servicemen smoking.
