STROMBOLI TERRA DI DIO (STROMBOLI: LAND OF GOD) is 1950 drama about a woman who regrets her hurried marriage to an Italian peasant in order to escape a prisoner of war camp.
- Sex
There are some mild sex references as it is implied that women in a POW camp have flirted or slept with Italian soldiers and that one woman has 'sinned' with a German soldier. One woman is also referred to as a 'whore' who has a 'bad reputation'.
- Violence
There are some scenes of domestic violence as a man slaps his wife and pushes her to the floor during an argument.
- Threat
There are moments of mild threat during a volcanic eruption as debris falls on a village, causing the locals to abandon their homes in search of protection.
