STRANGLED is a drama, based on real-life events, in which a series of sexual murders take place in a small Hungarian town.

Violence

There are scenes in which women are sexually assaulted, murdered and raped. There is also a scene in which a male prisoner is raped with a blunt object.

In one scene, the killer cuts around a woman's breast, resulting in blood running from the wound. There is also a scene in which a male prisoner is beaten on the soles of his feet before having his feet plunged into boiling water.

In one scene, a man watches a film on TV which includes sexual activity. There are also a couple of scenes in which men and women have sex, and which include nudity.

There is a scene in which a man deliberately cuts his own wrist, accompanied by blood pouring from the wound.

Some scenes include sight of cut and mutilated corpses.

There is also some strong language ('f**k').
