STRANGER BY THE LAKE (L'INCONNU DU LAC) is a subtitled French drama about a man who becomes romantically involved with a dangerous stranger. The film is rated 18 for strong real sex.
The film concerns events that occur at a 'cruising' spot and there are some scenes of strong sexual activity. Two of these scenes include brief detail of unsimulated masturbation, ejaculation and fellatio.
In one scene a man is discovered whose throat has been cut. Blood pumps from the wound as another man attempts to close the wound Later on, another man is stabbed in the stomach, but this is shown from a distance.
