THE STANFORD PRISON EXPERIMENT is a US drama based on a real-life 1971 experiment to test how people would react in defined roles within an artificial prison-like environment.

Language

There is frequent use of strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker') and use of moderate and mild bad language (eg 'bitch', 'ass', 'son of a bitch', 'bastard', 'shit').

Threat

There is some strong threat as characters are subjected to verbally aggressive psychological torture, as well as being physically slammed onto the floor, tied up and pushed up against walls.
