STALINGRAD is a Russian and German language film, with English subtitles, set during the siege of Stalingrad in 1942.

Violence

Soldiers are shown being shot with bullets or killed with grenades. There is sight of bloody bullet impacts, and blood sprays from exit wounds, but no strong focus on the bloodshed. At one point, a woman and baby are placed in a wooden cart, which is set alight with flame-throwers.

In one scene, a soldier starts to tear off a captive woman's clothes, at which point the scene cuts away. However, the woman is subsequently seen lying naked and face down as the soldier dresses, implying that a sexual assault has occurred

There is a single use of strong language ('f**k'), as well as various uses of milder terms.
