SPY KIDS – ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD is the latest in the series of comedy action-adventure films, which this time features a brother and sister who are unaware their stepmother is a former top secret agent. When she is recalled to stop a villain who plans to speed up time and hasten the end of the world, the two children find themselves joining her as the latest recruits to the agency's Spy Kids Division.
- Violence
The film contains a series of action set-pieces in which the children, and other characters, face threats from sources such as gigantic floating clock parts, science fiction-style weapons, and being chased by villains on flying skateboards. The fantastical nature of these encounters and their invariably comic consequences mean the action has an exciting 'rollercoaster' quality, rather than presenting the children as being in any realistic danger. Although one scene features some powerful blows and kicks being delivered by an adult character to a gang of villains, there is little detail.
The film also contains very mild language, such as uses of 'butthead' and wordplay on the phrase 'shittake mushrooms', which has been a running joke through all the SPY KIDS films.
There is also mild rude humour, with jokes about 'puking', 'farting' and 'pooping', including a scene in which a robot dog is shown, without detail, expelling ball bearings from its rear end. The rude humour is light-hearted in nature and will be accompanied in cinemas by the provision of 'scratch-and-sniff' cards for the audience to activate when cues appear on the screen at the appropriate moment.
