SON OF SARDAAR is a Hindi language musical drama and comedy about a Punjabi man from London returning to his ancestral home, where he falls for a woman whose family have been feuding with his own for many generations.

Violence

There is a retelling of the initial incident that caused the feud, which is shown in silhouette and with muted colours. We see shadowy sight of a man being attacked, with an impression of blood spurts. The same scene is repeated later on. Other scenes of violence involve stunts and slow-motion techniques that make them unrealistic and often comic.

The film also contains some mild bad language ('shitting' and 'bastard').
