THE SLEEPING ROOM is a psychological horror about a young escort who gets close to a client; together they uncover shocking secrets hidden in an old Victorian brothel.

Language

Occasional use of strong language ('f**k'), as well as various uses of milder terms, including ‘bitch', 'whore' and 'shit'.

Violence

Strong violence includes bloody stabbings, sepia film footage showing throat slittings, and blows to a man's face and head, resulting in some bloody aftermath. The images are briefly strong but do not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury.

Sex

There are verbal references to prostitution and erections, as well as visual references to sex, including masturbation implied by a man's rhythmic arm movements.

The film also contains scenes of psychological and physical threat, and drug use.
