THE SIGNAL is a sci-fi thriller about a group of young people who are abducted whilst searching for a mysterious internet hacker.

Violence

There is some strong action violence, including bullet impacts with sight of blood. There is also some disturbing sight of injuries.

Threat

There is a sustained sense of threat as the young people try to work out what is happening to them.

Language

There is one clear use of strong language ('f**k'), as well as various uses of milder bad language.

The film has a pervasively bleak and despairing tone.
