SEX TAPE is a comedy about a married couple who decide to record themselves having sex and accidentally leak the resulting video to various friends.

There are references to pornography, including a list of websites such as 'Butthole Sandwich' and 'Bang Bros'. Characters are also shown looking at porn websites on computer screens, with brief sight of images from these sites. These include breast nudity, but there is no strong sexual detail. There are several references to the central characters having sex and to other people watching the video they've made. There is sight of drawn images of sexual behaviour from 'The Joy of Sex'. Sex between the central character includes various positions with some buttock and partial breast nudity.

One use of very strong language, 'c**ts', when a man describes a rival company. There are also several uses of 'f**k', use of 'motherf**ker' and 'c**ksucker' and other, milder terms such as 'wank' and 'dick'.

In one scene cocaine is used, resulting in the user behaving badly.

There is comic violence, including a character chased by an angry dog. He manages to knock the animal out with a book and then slams it against a wall, knocking it out again.
