SCARY MOVIE V is the latest instalment in the spoof comedy horror franchise, parodying a number of recently released horror films and well-known works from other genres. This extended version of the feature is rated 15 for crude and sexual humour.
The film includes visual and verbal sex references throughout, some of which are crude in nature. These include sight of a vibrator and other sex toys, as well as verbal references to sex videos, group sex, bestiality, sadomasochism and pornography.
One scene includes comic gore as a group of zombies cut off their own limbs and otherwise mutilate themselves.
In one scene it is inferred that a woman has consumed two white tablets that she has been offered in a dance club. In a fantasy sequence, vacuum and swimming pool cleaners are observed snorting white powder through their respective hoses. There are also verbal and visual references to cannabis joints.
SCARY MOVIE V contains a single clear use of strong language ('f***ed'). Additionally, during the final credits there are several uses of bleeped strong language ('f**k' and 'motherf**ker'). There is also a play on very strong language during a scene in which a woman leaves a toilet cubicle and sees the words 'WHORE', 'BITCH' and 'CUN' written in lipstick on the washroom mirrors (the final word is not completed). There is some milder bad language, including uses of 'bitch', 'crap', 'damn', 'God', 'hell', 'shit' and 'slut'. There is also a single use of the word 'nigger' when an African American man talks about people who want to adopt children from ethnic minorities. He uses the phrase "Promising to feed this n*gger for 30 cents a day".
No-one younger than 15 may see a 15 rated film in the cinema. No-one younger than 15 may rent or buy a 15 rated video or DVD.
