SAHARA is a 1983 adventure drama, set in the 1920s, about a woman who takes part in a trans-African road race, but who is abducted by a desert Sheikh.
In one scene, a man wrestles a woman on a bed and forces himself upon her; however, he is interrupted. Elsewhere in the film, scorpions crawl over the faces of men who are buried up to their necks in sand, and a crowd tears at a woman's clothes.
In one scene, a woman is beaten to the ground by a man. There are also scenes in which men are shot; however, injury detail is limited.
There is a scene in which a man and woman kiss on a bed; however, there is no nudity detail. The film also contains scenes in which adult characters smoke, reflecting the time period in which the film is set. There is some mild bad language ('bloody', 'damned', 'goddamit').
