RSC LIVE FROM STRATFORD-UPON-AVON: JULIUS CAESAR is a recording of a performance of Shakespeare's tragedy.

Violence

There is moderate bloody violence as Julius Caesar is attacked and stabbed. The initial assault leaves him with blood on both his face and toga. Brutus then delivers the coup de grâce, a stabbing to the stomach, after which blood is seen on Brutus' face, hands and toga. In other scenes a young boy has his neck broken, a man is beaten to death by a mob, and three other men are stabbed and killed, at least one of these deaths being a suicide. There is, however, no more blood and no discernible injury detail.

Other issues include infrequent mild sex references.
