Note: The following text may contain spoilers

ROBIN HOOD is an action adventure film in which a nobleman assumes a secret persona as a thief.

Violence

There is moderate violence throughout, including some crunchy fistfights, sword fights, beheadings and scenes in which men are shot with arrows, all without sight of bloodshed or injury. A man's hand is cut off with a sword, without strong visual detail.

Threat

Characters are threatened with torture. There is a brief scene of sexual threat in which a man claims that he will rape a woman.

A man talks about being abused as a child, with reference to being beaten with canes and broomsticks. There are occasional brief moments of injury, including burns to a man's face. Mild bad language includes uses of 'bloody', 'bastard', 'piss' and 'shit'.
