ROBIN HOOD is an epic historical adventure in which the legendary outlaw returns to England, discovering the country on the verge of civil war while the French prepare to invade.
- Violence
There are frequent scenes of moderate violence involving large battles between knights and soldiers armed with swords, axes, spears, and bows and arrows. Sight of blood is infrequent and injuries are undetailed, with the strongest moment being a character being shot with an arrow through his throat.
- Sex
Infrequent moderate sex references are often delivered with archaic phraseology, such as speculation that a man in "rutting" his way through brothels, that Welshmen "cohabit" with sheep, and a man's penis being "proportionate" to his size.
There is occasional use of mild bad language including ‘bastard’, ‘bloody’, and the French term ‘merde’.
