ROAD is a documentary, narrated by Liam Neeson, about two generations of the Dunlop family, celebrated motorcycle racers from Northern Ireland.

Disturbing images

There is archive footage of several motorcycle racing crashes. Some of these are quite crunchy, and injured racers are seen hobbling away from the racing circuit from time to time. However, no blood or injury detail is shown, other than some old scars and evidence of disfigurement to a racer's arm and leg. One fatal accident is shown, but this is filmed at extreme distance from an overhead position. The victim is seen to fly over the handlebars of his motorbike whilst travelling at great speed, before being struck by a following motorbike. As before, there is no blood or injury detail.

There is one use 'bloody', as well as uses of the terms 'Christ' and 'hell'.

There are verbal accounts of motorcycle racing deaths, and an undetailed reference to a man taking his own life.
