REMEMBERING THE MAN is a documentary following the story of Tim Conigrave and John Caleo, an Australian couple who were affected by the AIDS pandemic.

Language

There is strong language ('f**k').

Sex

Strong sex references include verbal references to sexual activity and pornography.

There are montages of news footage showing anti-homosexual demonstrations, and commentators expressing homophobic attitudes. A man references how people at school called him 'woman' or 'fag'. The work as a whole has positive messages about gay rights.

There are some images of patients dying from AIDS in hospital beds, and references to their symptoms.
