REIGN OF ASSASSINS is a subtitled period martial arts drama about a female assassin who renounces her former trade but who is pursued by her former colleagues. It is rated 15 for strong violence.
The film contains several action scenes. The fighting generally features warriors using swords or large throwing needles, with some sight of blood and wounds when people are slashed or impaled. In one scene a female warrior briefly coughs up blood after being slashed with a sword. However, the scenes are rapidly edited and do not dwell on the detail of injury.
The film also contains a brief scene of female nudity when a woman gets out of bed and her exposed buttocks are visible. There is also one use of moderate language ('bitch').
