THE PURGE: ANARCHY is a horror thriller sequel, set in the future, about a small group of people struggling to survive on the streets during the annual night of legalised violence known as 'The Purge'.

Violence

Strong bloody violence includes multiple shootings with blood spurts, occasional bloody aftermath and a neck break. One man is set alight with a flame thrower and briefly seen flailing around on fire.

Language

There are over 30 uses of strong language ('f**k' and 'motherf**ker'), as well as various uses of milder terms, including 'bitch', 'shit' and 'ass'.

The film also contains brief injury detail and knife threat.
