PULI is a subtitled Tamil language fantasy action adventure film in which a hero travels to a demon kingdom in order to rescue his sweetheart.
- Violence
Scenes of moderate violence and associated gore include a man having his arm lopped off at the shoulder with a sword and a girl having her throat cut after a demon lashes out at her with a sword. Blood is seen on the girl's neck as she topples to the ground, but the imagery is deliberately out of focus and undetailed.
Other issues include mild sex references and mild bad language, including uses of 'bloody' and 'crap'.
Cuts information
The distributor chose to remove sight of both a blood spurt and a bloody incision across the front of a throat-cutting victim's neck in order to achieve a 12A classification. The cut was made in accordance with BBFC Guidelines and policy. A 15 uncut was available to the distributor.
