PROJECT WILD THING

PROJECT WILD THING is a documentary about the decreasing level of connection between children and Nature in modern society. Filmmaker David Bond appoints himself as 'Nature's Marketing Director' in a campaign to sell its benefits to children and their parents. The film is rated PG for mild language and sex references.

There is infrequent use of mild bad language (eg 'shit'). At one point a man says that, if his campaign speech is not effective, "Then I'm screwed".

The film contains some verbal sex references. For example, during a discussion about why parents are so nervous about letting their children play outside, it is noted that "We start believing that around every corner there's a paedophile". There are also some written references to a 'pole dancer' and a 'drunken fumble' seen in quotations from newspaper headlines.

There are some brief images from a videogame showing guns being fired, but there is no sight of bloody injury.

PG stands for Parental Guidance. A PG film should not disturb a child aged around eight or older. However, parents are advised to consider whether the content may upset younger or more sensitive children.
