THE PROGRAM is a drama about the cyclist Lance Armstrong and the revelation that his success came from the use of performance-enhancing drugs.

Language

There is strong language ('f**k'), with other bad language including uses of 'Jesus', 'shit', 'bullshit', 'balls', 'bloody', 'bitch' and 'whore'.

Drugs

The facts of the use of performance-enhancing drugs by Lance Armstrong and other cyclists are well documented. Drug-taking procedures, such as the injecting of substances and blood replacement, are shown in some detail. This type of substance abuse is presented as dangerous, and in the story of Armstrong's fall from grace, it is shown to have damaging consequences beyond its physical effects.

There are also brief bloody images as a man coughs up blood, and in a scene in which surgery is taking place.
