THE PRODIGY is a horror film in which a mother believes her young son's disturbing behaviour may have a supernatural explanation.

Violence

There are scenes in which people are stabbed and shot, some of which are accompanied by bloody detail. In one scene, a boy attacks another boy with a wrench.

There are references to sexual violence when a possessed boy tells a male psychiatrist he will claim that he has sexually assaulted him. The dialogue includes graphic references to sexual assault.

Injury detail

A barefooted woman treads on broken glass before she is seen extracting glass from her foot. Dead bodies are also seen with severed wrists. A dead dog is discovered with its legs cut off.

There is also infrequent strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder terms (for example, 'cock', 'whore', 'shit').
