PRÊT À TOUT is a subtitled French romantic comedy about a wealthy man who tries to win the heart of a woman by secretly buying the factory where she works, in order to prevent its closure.
The film contains two uses of strong language (‘f**k’). There is also mild and moderate bad language, including 'dammit', 'hell', ‘jerk’, 'bastards', ‘merde’/’shit’, ‘ass’, ‘asshole’, ‘piss you off’, ‘son of a bitch’, ‘screwing up’, ‘balls’, ‘crap’ and ‘whores’.
The story of the film’s central relationship, as well as a sub-plot about the hedonistic lifestyle of the man’s two friends, give rise to a number of moderate sex references. These include undetailed references to a ‘gangbang’, to a woman being ‘raped by a sadomasochist’, and to ‘a three-way…a four-way’. These are passing, comic statements that contain no strong or crude detail. In a misunderstanding about marketing soft drinks to youngsters, a man feels he must defend himself and says he has ‘no sexual desire’ for children. There is no serious suggestion of inappropriate behaviour on his part.
The film also contains brief visual drug references and scenes of incidental cigarette smoking.
