POLINA is a French drama in which a young Russian woman trains as a ballerina.

Threat

A group of men force their way into a family's home and threaten them at gunpoint. One of the men grips a young woman by the throat before telling her father, "Your women are beautiful". The sexual threat is never made explicit, however.

Sex

A scene of implied sex shows a couple kissing and undressing before the woman straddles the man on the floor, all without visible nudity. Other scenes contain brief visual references to sex work.

There is sight of a mildly bloody injury on a dancer's toe. Other issues include infrequent mild bad language (eg 'shit') and a brief fight scene without visible blood or injury detail.
