PLAY DIRTY is a drama about a BP employee assigned to the British Army in North Africa and asked to lead a unit on a dangerous mission behind enemy lines.

Violence

There are several scenes of battle violence, with bombs exploding and gunshots fired. Men fall with blood on their clothing and are shown lying dead on the ground, some quite bloody. There are also moments of violence which are more sadistic in nature, including one in which a number of seated Arabs are shot dead with a machine gun and another in which a man, trapped under some barbed wire, is shot several times in the torso, with spurts of blood. There is also knife violence, but there's little detail.

The film contains a scene in which a woman is held down by several men. She is seen struggling, as the men attempt to removes her clothing and one man is seen unbuckling his belt and pulling down his trousers, revealing his buttocks. The scene comes to an end when another man shoots at the group.

Bad language is mild, with uses of 'bloody' and 'bastard'.
