PINK is a Hindi language courtroom drama about a woman who is put on trial for attempted murder after defending herself from a sexual assault.

Violence

There is a scene of sexual violence in which a woman is dragged into a car by several men; the woman is held down and a man is positioned on top of her. There is also a scene of attempted rape in which a man forcefully kisses a woman and pins her against a wall. There are numerous verbal references to sexual violence.

Language

There is infrequent use of strong language ('phuddi'), as well as milder terms including 'shit', 'slag', 'pussy', 'crap' and 'bullshit'.

Frequent references to prostitution, including women being accused of being sex workers by the prosecution in the trial.

Bloody images show a man with a bloodied towel pressed to his eye. The scene is followed by sight of surgical detail when doctors treat the injury.
