PELO MALO is a subtitled Spanish language drama about a nine-year-old Venezuelan boy who clashes with his traditionalist mother when he decides to have his hair straightened.

Sex

There are two scenes in which a woman has sex with a man. Although both scenes are prolonged, there is no strong detail.

Language

Some strong language ('f**k'), as well as various uses of milder bad language ('whore', 'slutty', 'damn', 'hell').

There are also scenes in which a boy and a girl discuss rape; however, there are no scenes of sexual violence. Some scenes feature non-sexualised adult and child nudity, within a bathing context.
