PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4 continues the series with the haunting of a suburban family. The film is rated 15 for strong threat and strong language.
The film includes several brief images of apparitions or unexplained phenomena that can be seen by the audience but not by the characters in the film. As the film progresses the apparitions start to interact more directly with the people living in the house, increasing the level of threat and terror. Scenes include a character who finds themself locked in a garage as it fills with poisonous fumes, a person's neck being broken, with accompanying sound of breaking bones, and a character being chased by a demonic figure.
The film also contains strong language.
